in 1John 4: 4, believe, Don't neglect you!, Encourage Yourself Today!, God has your back, God orders your steps, Phil 1: 6, Phil 4: 13, Phil 4: 4, You are Loved, You are special, You can overcome anything, You have angels who work for you
I received a call from a friend who needed prayer. We prayed together. I thought not only about the importance of our praying and encouraging one another and also of our need to encourage ourselves. WE’VE GOT TO DO THIS!
Just pull out the bible…the ammunition is there. Now some of you may be saying: “I don’t need to do that.” My answer: “Do it anyways.” Maybe not for today, but for that next time when you need it. Satan hopes you won’t do it.
Take the scriptures and personalize them to you. You’ll be so glad that you did. Here are just a few:
Phil 4:13………..I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
1Jn 4:4………….(You) have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he that is in the world.
Phil 1:6…………(Be) confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ,…
Phil 4:4…………Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I say, rejoice!

But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. Hebrews 11: 6
After graduating from a fine Christian University and a wonderful secular university; I made a choice to pursue God and to study His Word instead of acquiring a Ph.D. ; it was the best decision that I ever made! In this world, it would be easy to be deceived into believing that church attendance and bible study are unnecessary or that prayer takes too long. I hear it and see it all of the time.
I’ve been trying to tell my friend Karen about the Lord for quite a while. We’ve been holding discussions about faith. I was over her house two months ago to get my hair styled and she mentioned that her daughter had Carpel Tunnel Syndrome. Immediately, I asked her if we could pray for her healing. We joined hands, the three of us and prayed. We believed God for her healing and for The Blessing to manifest in their lives. I forgot about it.
Right after that, Karen’s daughter was laid off from her job. Karen’s daughter got a new job almost immediately thereafter, at a meat packing house.
I found out today that her Carpel Tunnel Syndrome pain had completely disappeared after our prayers. Today, I was told that symptoms have returned. (She lifts hams and turkeys etc) I will go see her again and lay hands on her again and we will pray praying Matthew 18: : 19-20 which says:
Matthew 18:19-20 (King James Version)
King James Version (KJV) Public Domain
19Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven.
20For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.
Do I believe this? I believe it so much that I use it for anyone that I pray with every single day!
God Cares For You!
1 Peter 5:7
Let Him have all your worries and cares, for He is always thinking about you and watching everything that concerns you.
Don’t Worry!
Philippians 4:6-7
Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything; tell God your needs, and don’t forget to thank Him for His answers. If you do this, you will experience God’s peace, which is far more wonderful than the human mind can understand. His peace will keep your thoughts and your hearts quiet and at rest as you trust in Christ.
Don’t Fear!
Isaiah 41:10
Fear not, for I am with you. Do not be dismayed. I am your God. I will strengthen you; I will help you; I will uphold you with My victorious right hand.

Today…
Today is the day that you need God to do some things for you.
How He is really going to do it; you haven’t got a clue.
It might be a money thing, the devil’s squeezing you real tight,
When it comes down to your faith, you can’t give up the fight,
I don’t know what you know and if I did it would shape what I would say,
But it is my prayer that I say to you as I send the angels out your way,
It doesn’t matter where you are as I intercede on your behalf,
God can read your heart and hear your prayers, and He is certain to move for you
as the dew is on the grass.
With faith you have to believe that your little troubles will go away,
Just like the sky is blue on a bright cheery summer day,
Perhaps in your own mind the problem is very large and strong,
Perhaps in your own mind you can’t seem to understand how it all went so very wrong,
God will make your problems go away and He’ll do it one by one,
Recall the words of Jesus when he said the world he had overcome,
So today if you get this word, get it down deep within yourself,
And envision those problems locked away in a dark room on a shelf,
Now that this has been explained to you, I want to recruit you for the fight,
We have an army of warriors putting Satan into flight.
So I ask you to consider it, God will honor and cover you,
Like the grass is covered as the dawn is peaking; with a fresh coat of morning dew.
