If you haven’t read part One ; please read it now…it will put you in the right mindset: HERE

I’ll give you a few answers before I finish the story: First and foremost…I pray.

1. My husband didn’t like to go anywhere; it’s not that he just singled out church. (If that’s the case for you, it may be a little tougher…I’ll discuss it later)
2. I decided to give it to God from the minute I began to desire my husband to go to church with me. I never said much at all to him. I didn’t try to make him feel guilty.
3. I began to tell my husband what my beliefs were. I even explained to him how surprised I was to see so many men in church. I also explained how my pastor highly regards and respects men.
4. I explained to my husband how God doesn’t need our money, what the purpose of making an offering and paying a tithe is for.
5. My “explanations” were only when he was in a good mood, and they were never forced. It took months for me to tell all of this.
6. In the backdrop, I am a praying woman.
7. I became more loving, more sharing, more considerate. I cleaned my house more. I kept myself up better.
8. He saw my faith rise. I am certain that when several things that I was believing God for happened, it was a turning point for him. He saw the impact of God on my life and in my life:
a. Without going into great detail, I got a much needed car, after giving mine away to someone in dire straights.
b. He saw me healed.
c. He saw me really reaching out to people.
d. He met my faith friends and he was impressed that they were regular people who are also good.
e. He s
aw God turn our family around.
f. He saw super natural debt cancellation for himself.

9. He saw God change our lives.

How to get your Spouse to go to church with you! by Elaine Davenport (Friday, November 16, 2007)

When I went to another church years ago, there were just a handful of men there that weren’t deacons or the pastors. Some sisters were believing God that their husbands would come to church. For some it finally happened…once. Still for others, it never happened. Who me? Well, during those days I never believed God that my husband would come to church…I knew better.

Proverbs 18:22 KJV)
(22) {Whoso} findeth a wife findeth a good {thing}, and obtaineth favour of the Lord.

The devil tried his best to attack our marriage, but he couldn’t do it.

Let’s fast forward to these present days. Thirteen years ago, I began to realize that the small voice inside me instructing me was God and I began to pay attention and follow orders. My life began to take a turn for the better,

I moved closer to God at the same time that I found a new church. In my new church, I noticed so many husbands going to church with their wives. There were literally almost as many men as women there. I began to observe to see if I could find out the answer. I could not ever see it with the natural eye.

It was my healing testimony that touched my husbands heart. That’s why this is on a Healing Site.

I ran to God when I needed a Healing. The Victory came quick. So, I began to serve quickly. I began to go to church all of the time. I never tried to get my husband to go to church; I gave it to God. I prayed many times for his salvation. Long before he ever went to church, he began to bring strangers to me for prayer. The Lord was preparing his heart.
