God is better than the UPS! by Elaine Davenport (Wednesday, June 13, 2007)

A “lot” of people came here to hear why I think God is better than the UPS; so I’ll get right to it. The UPS will tell you that your package will arrive (if you or someone pay for it) on a certain day…and you believe it. Just because they said it. They aren’t sending you the package, paying for it and they don’t even know you, nor you them; yet you believe them. If you’re not home or don’t get out to pick it up within the time frame, it goes back. “Most” of the time the package comes.

When you get your “answered” prayer package from God; He sends it, He sees to it that it gets to you on time. God is better than UPS. UPS won’t send you a miracle, but God will. UPS won’t deliver before 8 in the morning or after 8 at night, but God will. UPS may make you sign for a package in order for you to receive it; but God won’t do that because He already knows who you are. On a grander scale, UPS is delivering packages all over the country simultaneously. God is delivering answers, and sending more packages than UPS could ever manage. I can go on, but you get the point.

Perhaps, you don’t know that any of this is true. Then it is my prayer that you will come to know that these things are true. That you will come to know His Divine plan for your life. I say this in the Authority of Jesus and by His blood.

I heard a dynamic minister define the word Miracle. I loved it and took note of it.

MIRACLE- a Divine intervention into the ordinary course of things.

It’s that simple. I’ve had a few. My greatest miracles were not solely about healing; but I’ve had two healing miracles to my knowledge.

A little over ten years ago, I was diagnosed with a brain tumor. It was a generational curse that ran in my family. My grandfather had one. At the time that I was diagnosed, so also were two other cousins that I did not know. They both lived in another state. I elected to have it removed and relied on God to handle things for me.

Things didn’t come out the way that I planned them. First of all, I had something that happened in the surgery that caused me to walk like Frankenstein. I was also slightly paralyzed on my left side and was left with a speech impediment that produced stuttering. I GUESS I NEED TO MENTION HERE THAT IF YOU SAW ME NOW, IT’S ALL GONE< ALL SYMPTOMS AND I WALK NORMAL. I look so healthy that you’d think I made it all up. But, I didn’t. Just ask anyone who knows me. I got a lot of “pity” looks. I didn’t need a miracle for any of this because I faced something far greater.

YOU NEED TO KNOW…

That your miracle can come anyplace, anytime or anywhere! Just be in expectation! If the UPS can bring you a package just like they said, what do you think God can do?

The Doctor came to my bedside immediately after surgery…

My doctor approached me after surgery and told me that I would have to have surgery the rest of my life, every three or four years because the tumor would grow back. That was devastating to me…”if” I received it. I did not know what I know now, but I was able to totally reject it. The doctor told me that she wanted to go back into my head and perform more brain surgery. I told her “No.”

Miracles unfolded…

It’s about 4 in the morning here in Michigan, and I have a great deal of commentary to write not only for this site , but for others as well. I’ll cut my story short but I promise to write much more about miracles in future editions.

My miracle may have happened overnight or instantly but I didn’t know it right away until the doctor told me a few months later that everything disappeared off of the radar. Of course, she didn’t believe it. I saw her some ten years later and she asked me why I didn’t ever come back and I told her because I did not need to. She didn’t really understand faith talk, but she understood that.

I’ve had other miracles too, but this really isn’t about me at all. When I woke up this morning; this is what I heard:

And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work: 2 Corinthians 9: 8

If He’ll do it for me, He’ll do it for you. God is no “respecter of persons.” Your job is to believe Him. Can you do that?

* A miracle can come for a healing, a situation, to any person that can believe God. Remember the woman with the issue of Blood? She needed a healing. She was desperate. It had been twelve long years and she decided that she could get it IF she could just touch the hem of Jesus garment. She pressed, she did it, she got it.

Just remember that just like this site is non traditional, your healing, your answer to your situation or circumstance may be as well. The way that my healing came was uniquely orchestrated by God. The way that your answered prayer will come, will be uniquely orchestrated by God. You just have to be in expectation!
