Praise, Prayer and Thankfulness for Healing by Elaine Davenport (Thursday, October 18, 2007)

In the NAME OF Jesus, Father I come humbly into your courts with praise and thanksgiving.    Father I have so much to be thankful for.  Father I want to thank you for waking us up today.  I want to thank you for providing  for me.  You provide me with shelter, food, the clothes on my back and I know that healing is also a provision that you have for me.   I am challenged in the area of :  (you state).   I know that healing is your will for me.    I stand on your word which says that Jesus was wounded for our transgressions, bruised for our inequities, that the chastisement of our peace was upon him and with his stripes we ARE healed.

You said:  Beloved,   I wish above all things that thou mayest be in health even as thy soul prospereth… Father I know your will and it gives  me  more confidence AND BOLDNESS TO BE ABLE TO STAND FOR  MY HEALING.

I know that nothing is too hard for you LORD.  I know that you want  ME to be totally healed and totally well.  I know that you want every part of ME to be whole;  body, soul and spirit.  It is not your will to do a half job on this matter.  You want ME to come all the way up to the provision and get everything that you have for me.

Father I know that healing is your will.  When I look in the Word I see that the Lord Jesus Christ went about healing those who were oppressed and removing burdens.
Father, I know that  I have a part to play,  I will treat  my body as the temple of God,  I will be a good steward with my eating habits, getting proper exercise, sunlight and water,  I  will meditate upon healing scriptures in the Word of God and I will increase  my faith for healing in My body.  Your word says without faith it is impossible to please You for he that cometh to God must believe that God is and that He is a rewarder of those that diligently seek Him.
(Heb.  11:6)  I know that you can move in this situation when you see my expectation and my ability to believe what your Word says and who you are.  I  know that if I  expect of You my expectation will be met and I thank You for that Lord.    Father I know that You cannot deny my faith and that You will reward my faith and I have great faith for MY  healing today.  Your Word says that when Jesus SAW their faith, he said unto the sick of the palsy:  Son thy sins be forgiven thee (MARK 2: 5)  and  he said I say unto thee, arise, take up thy bed and go to thy house

(Mark 2:  11) and the man was healed and those that saw it were amazed and glorified God in a fashion that had not been seen before.

Your Word says that Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever.  Father I declare today that I  will stay in faith in all matters that concern me, stay in expectation in all matters and confess what I  am believing everywhere and all the time.  It doesn’t matter what it looks like to  ME because faith IS REQUIRED before something happens, Faith is the substance  of things hoped; the evidence of things not seen.  (Hebrews 11: 1)  So I declare that I  will rise up in my  PRAISE. Rise up in my  thanks giving while I am   waiting for the manifestation of my prayers.  I  thank you Father for hearing my petition this day  and in the Name of Jesus I count it done.  AMEN.

A prayer for faith against fear by Elaine Davenport (Saturday, September 22, 2007)

 *  Many people are afraid as challenges arise and pressures mount.  It is a trick of the enemy; yet it still is very real.  We can pray for God to strengthen us in our time of need.  Please join me by placing your special need or petition in the blank as you pray it and please make it personal by saying I  or your name in the appropriate place.  Blessings.

A PRAYER FOR FAITH AND AGAINST FEAR

In the Name of Jesus, Heavenly Father we draw closer to you this day.  Father, I am sore troubled regarding these matters of _________, ___________________ and blank not knowing which way to turn.  We join our faith together and stand on your Word for you are our solid rock.  Father we cast off any fear that would come into the my heart.    We instead cast the burden that ___________ (name)  has this day upon you for I am the righteous and You will never suffer the righteous to be moved.  We stand on your Word which says:  And it shall come to pass in the day that the LORD shall give thee rest from thy sorrow, and from thy fear, and from the hard bondage wherein thou wast made to serve,  (ISAIAH 14:  3)  Father we know that you will give  me rest from the prayer concerns that plague her/his mind today.  She/He will wait on you holding fast to your Word:  But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.  (KJV)  (ISAIAH 40:31)  Father we take solace of the  Word given unto us which says:  And Moses said unto the people, Fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of the LORD, which he will shew to you to day: for the Egyptians whom ye have seen to day, ye shall see them again no more for ever.   The LORD shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace.  (Exodus 14: 13,14)  Father, I know that this battle that she/he speaks of, prays about; the one that has consumed most of her/his thoughts is not hers; but it is yours Lord.  Your word says The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction.  (Prov.  1:  23)    Your Word says:  Turn you at my reproof: behold, I will pour out my spirit unto you, I will make known my words unto you.  (Proverbs 1: 23)  You said:  Speak not in the ears of a fool: for he will despise the wisdom of thy words. So Father  I hear Your words today and in all future days.  We confess that I am  the head and not the tail, above and never shall be beneath.  That _________ (name)  will hearken unto your voice and keep your commandments.  That she/he will hear your voice and the voice of a stranger she/he will not follow, regarding your guidance for her/his through these trials/tests that she/he faces.

Father, we don’t know how this is going to come out; but we know that NOTHING is too hard for you.  We know that __________ (name)  will hear your instruction and your reproof  and if there is anything in his/her life that is in need of correction that she/he will diligently hearken to your Voice.  It is our prayer that __________ (name) will not have indecisive faith but that she will meditate upon your Word both day and night; getting stronger and stronger always remembering  that faith cometh by hearing and hearing by the Word of God.  Father, we know that you have heard our petition and that you will honor my prayer  this day, sending your ministering angels out in her/his behalf.  We give you glory and honor and praise and we thank you for your mercy and your grace in the mighty name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior.  AMEN

An urgent prayer! by Elaine Davenport ( Friday, July 27, 2007)

* Whatever you’re believing God for, I leave room for you to add your own specialized prayer to this wherever you choose. This represents my Prayer of Agreement with you.

Verily I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.

Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven.

For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.” Matthew 18: 18-20

Father, in the Name of Jesus we draw nigh unto you this day for we know that the Lord is nigh unto all that call upon Him; to all that call upon Him in truth. Father we know that every good gift and every perfect gift is from above and cometh down from the Father of lights with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning. (James 1: 17) ; we know that whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty and continueth therein, he being NOT a forgetful hearer; but a doer of the work, this man shall be Blessed in his deed. (James 1: 25). So Father we bring the Prayer petition of ____________ ( name ) before you this day. Father, _________( name) (your name) is your precious child, your favorite child, we declare that favor goes before her/him and prospers her/his way. Father you have heard the prayer request of ________ ( name) regarding the matters of: _________________ and ______________. It seems that all kinds of temptations and tests surround _____________(yname) and that her/his choices and strategies regarding what she/he will do are critical to a good outcome. So we go to your Word for direction which says: My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations; Knowing this that the trying of your faith worketh patience; But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire wanting nothing. Father your word says: If any of you LACK wisdom, let him ask of God that giveth to ALL men liberally and upbraideth not; and it SHALL be given him. But let him ask in faith nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. James 1: 2-7) Father we therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace on ___________’s ( name) behalf in her/his time of need. (Hebrews 4: 16)

And we simply ask that you will pour your love upon ________ ( name) this day, give her/him wisdom, revelation, grace and mercy. We pray that the eyes of her/his understanding will be enlightened this day in the knowledge of who you are. We pray that in any trial or test that _________ ( name) will be sober minded, grave and temperate. We know that you are able Lord to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think according to the power that worketh in us. (Ephesians 3: 20). We declare that ___________ (name) is fully persuaded having full confidence that what You have promised you are fully able to perform. (Romans 4: 21)

We thank you Lord for hearing our prayer and for answering our prayer in Jesus Name. AMEN.

What “you” need by Elaine Davenport (Wednesday, July 11, 2007)

A PRAYER FOR WISDOM

Dear Heavenly Father, I come into Your presence to speak to You today in the Name of Jesus and by his blood. Father I hold you in the highest regard and love You with all of my heart, all of my mind and all of my soul! I find myself in Your awesome presence today to seek wisdom in the circumstances that challenge me today. I am also seeking wisdom to help other people in the way that You need me to do it. I declare and decree that I will depart from evil and do good, that I will walk with wise men; thereby I will be wise; also I want to say that I stand ready for instruction, for I am just and therefore teachable and able to increase in learning.

I thank you Father that I am able to hear You because I watch daily at Your gates and wait at the posts of Your door, knowing that I will not only find life but favor. I do not despise Your chastening and I do not grow weary of Your correction because I know that whom You love; You correct just like a Father corrects a son (or daughter) whom he loves. I thank You that because my ear can hear reproof that I can abide among the wise. I thank You Father that wisdom assures my promotion which doesn’t come from the East or West or the North or the South; but it comes from You LORD. I thank You Father that I am able to recognize the JOY that I have in You. I delight myself greatly in Your commandments and I am Blessed because I have total reverence for you. I thank you that Godly wisdom guarantees that even my enemies cannot overcome me. I thank you Father that Your statutes and judgments in the Word of God give me wisdom.

I thank you Father that I will continue to hear and hear the Word of God knowing faith cometh by hearing and hearing by the Word of God. I thank you Father for the desires that You have placed in my heart. I thank You for Your patience with me as I seek to gain wisdom in the things that You have promised me. I thank You Father for Your patience with me as I realize that I cannot do things my way; but that I CAN do things Your way with perfect results. I thank You Father that I will remain focused and fixed on my calling. I thank You Father that I have good and perfect habits and that those habits allow me to fulfill my destiny.

I thank You Father that I will remember everyday that if the fruit of desire is pursuit; that I will always be in pursuit; never moving farther away from what I am called to do by procrastinating.

I thank You Father that I’m all out of excuses. I thank You Father that I have the wisdom to move past excuses and win every battle on the home turf of my mind or wherever it may be! I thank you Father that everyday I go out and train for battle and that I gain and grow in wisdom. I purpose in my heart to seek You for guidance in all that I do! Father, I believe You and I know that I CANNOT FAIL! AMEN
