If you haven’t read part One ; please read it now…it will put you in the right mindset: HERE
I’ll give you a few answers before I finish the story: First and foremost…I pray.
1. My husband didn’t like to go anywhere; it’s not that he just singled out church. (If that’s the case for you, it may be a little tougher…I’ll discuss it later)
2. I decided to give it to God from the minute I began to desire my husband to go to church with me. I never said much at all to him. I didn’t try to make him feel guilty.
3. I began to tell my husband what my beliefs were. I even explained to him how surprised I was to see so many men in church. I also explained how my pastor highly regards and respects men.
4. I explained to my husband how God doesn’t need our money, what the purpose of making an offering and paying a tithe is for.
5. My “explanations” were only when he was in a good mood, and they were never forced. It took months for me to tell all of this.
6. In the backdrop, I am a praying woman.
7. I became more loving, more sharing, more considerate. I cleaned my house more. I kept myself up better.
8. He saw my faith rise. I am certain that when several things that I was believing God for happened, it was a turning point for him. He saw the impact of God on my life and in my life:
a. Without going into great detail, I got a much needed car, after giving mine away to someone in dire straights.
b. He saw me healed.
c. He saw me really reaching out to people.
d. He met my faith friends and he was impressed that they were regular people who are also good.
e. He saw God turn our family around.
f. He saw super natural debt cancellation for himself.
9. He saw God change our lives.
