in APOLOGETICS, Drug stores are money makers, Find out if your friends are sick, Jesus cures, TAKE A POLL, THE BIG BANG THEORY, THINK ABOUT IT, Thousands of people from around the world are getting h, Too many people are sick, UNIVERSITY PROFESSORS BRAINWASHING STUDENTS, WHY ARE THEY HEALED AND WE'RE NOT?, WHY IS THERE SO MUCH SICKNESS?
WHAT”S GOING ON?
Everywhere I go, people have on bandages. Lately I’ve seen a lot on people’s wrists. I’m sure that’s one of Satan’s favorite attack targets; he tried me a couple of months back, but I had to back him off with the WORD. PRAISE GOD!
It’s also hard to find anyone over forty-five that’s not on medication. Drug companies are filthy rich. Neighborhood drug stores go up faster than fast food stores. Even gas stations sell over the counter “medications.” These medicines don’t work or people wouldn’t need refills. I call them band-aids. Sometimes medicines do help, but they don’t cure you. Jesus cures, he heals.
TAKE A POLL
Take an informal poll amongst your friends, find out if they’re sick or their family. You’d be surprised at the answers that you get.
DON’T YOU WONDER WHY THERE IS SO MUCH SICKNESS?
I can’t tell you why, but I can tell you that you’re already healed, but I think most people who aren’t spiritually in tune prefer being sick; even though they could put the same amount of effort into being healed as they do in staying sick.
I’m not unsympathetic. Illness and disease are real, but God’s plan for us is wellness.
Jesus is healing thousands of people all over the world who have challenges far more grave than many of us have faced.
BUT WHY ARE THEY HEALED?
ONE WORD: Faith
They believe.
Lying flat on my back in the hospital facing brain surgery, I asked the nurse if she believed that Jesus healed. I wasn’t strong in the faith then, because now I wouldn’t ask, I’d tell! But she scoffed, turned her nose uop and said something to the effect that she didn’t want to hear it. I feel bad and pray for hospital staffs hoping that their mass burnout will not negatively impact people’s confidence in God at a vulnerable time in their lives.
In this modern world, it’s hard to get people to see the truth. You’ve got “some” university instructors telling college students that there is no God. They rule by intimidation. No one shouts them down because they need the grade! Obviously, they don’t take their refutations into a spiritual arena because they know they won’t hold up. So, they keep the complaints in the classroom settings where the poor students won’t say anything and can’t say anything because they haven’t been trained in APOLOGETICS. (defending the faith)
TO MAKE MATTERS WORSE...
A lot of people try to tell you that there is no God.
In fact, some of those people are really smart people which should give them more credibility. Because they are scientists people are willing to believe that all this beauty around us was created by a big bang. Now, I made a big bang in the kitchen with some dishes and what a mess. Our car made a big bang with some other cars; what a mess. But, we’re supposed to believe that in the universe, there was a BIG BANG and we got all of this beauty. It doesn’t make any sense.
The Word of God won’t put a bandaid on you.
Hebrews 4: 12 says:
For the word of God – Preached, Heb 4:2, and armed with threatenings, Heb 4:3. Is living and powerful – Attended with the power of the living God, and conveying either life or death to the hearers. Sharper than any two – edged sword – Penetrating the heart more than this does the body. Piercing – Quite through, and laying open. The soul and spirit, joints and marrow – The inmost recesses of the mind, which the apostle beautifully and strongly expresses by this heap of figurative words. And is a discerner – Not only of the thoughts, but also of the intentions.
