The Anti-Blog by Elaine Davenport (Sunday, July 15, 2007)

This is a Healing Site.   I make no apologies for it.  However; in lieu of the fact that I am unable to put this  name in the heading (THE ANTI- BLOG)of my site without totally starting over; I’d like to offer this disclaimer.   We’re not practicing the common Blogging formatting. n  This is a arena where people, practices and ideas are different that what most faith people believe and know.   Yet in some ways, we’re all  so much alike. I’d like to offer the distinction:

My purpose like other Bloggers is to offer commentary on a subject that is important to me. Like other Bloggers, I have a passion for the subject area. I have experience in this area and it is not popular. I don’t care. I speak of the things of God. I write about healing because I have been healed of various ills, know others who have and know it’s available to you too (if) you can believe it and apply your faith.

ANTI-BLOGGER

We’re anti-arguing

We’re anti-spam

We’re anti- hate

We’re anti- gossip

We’re not anti atheists- we pray for them

We’re anti-Satan

We’re anti-sickness

We’re anti-disease

We’re anti- useless banter

You get the drift.

I guess this is some kind of unusual mission statement to some; but not for us.

Blogging offers a wonderful outlet/forum in which to express facts and comments when not abused.  I don’t go around the web reading Blogs because I don’t have the leisure. However, trained in research I’ve observed some things. There aren’t many born again Faith Bloggers and even amongst them, people are at different levels of focus. On the average Bloggers for whatever reason like feedback. That’s good.

However, that is not my purpose per se. I’m not here to get into sparring words or ideas. I’m here to report and remind, to encourage and to express. I’m not here to pray and preach but I am here to pray and teach. I’m also here to learn. We’re here to minister to the believers and the lost. We’re here to throw you a life raft and we’re serious. It’s not popular to have this kind of a site; a site for the benefit of the reader with information that’s different and serious. So that’s why I call it the anti-blog. My site has been “critiqued” as being different.

Do you remember when Joshua saw the angel and asked are you with us or against us and the angel said take off your shoes this is Holy ground?

Well, that is our treatise here at this site. It’s holy ground and we will not allow any kind of crazy spam comments on this site. All the best; Blessings!
