Lies to test your Faith by Elaine Davenport (Monday, October 22, 2007)

Dearest believer, you find yourself facing a challenge regarding your health and well being and it “looks like” there is no hope. Well God says:

Ye shall not need to fight in this battle: set yourselves, stand ye still, and see the salvation of the LORD with you, O Judah and Jerusalem: fear not, nor be dismayed; tomorrow go out against them: for the LORD will be with you. 2 Chronicles 20: 17

Remember that God has things for you to do; you’ve got to be well. Remember that!

Not long ago, I found myself in line for a Blessing. Something that I had desired had manifested. It was something that could lead to my being able to be a Blessing to the body of Christ. However, there came a point where instead of my having joy, apprehension was being visited upon me. Now mind you; I did not receive it, but the enemy was trying to serve it just like a process server. He needed me to sign for it. He needed to get it in my hands.

And the Lord said, Simon, Simon, behold, Satan hath desired to have you, that he may sift you as wheat:
But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not: and when thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren. Luke 22: 31- 32
I began to get before God. He began to assure me that things were not like they seemed, then He sent confirmation in the form of a message from a friend. After that “season” it came to pass that it was the devil’s attempt to deceive me and steal my victory. I rejected the lie but could not have done so without staying close to God.

The enemy will tell you lies in your mind or through your thoughts. Trust God, reject all lies!
