* The only thing that I don’t like about Internet Blogging is that I have to use my name. I know that it gives a writer credibility but, I don’t care for “self” promotion. So please, as you read this please understand that there is great sincerity and the the entire purpose here is not about any of the writers feeling of “grandeur”; but about furthering God’s mission. He has one.
“When the enemy comes in like a flood, The Spirit of the Lord will lift up A standard against him.” Isaiah 59:19(b)
I was greatly Blessed to hear a mighty man of God (my Spiritual grandfather) take the above verse apart. His suggestion made a lot more sense to me based upon personal faith experiences that I have had. You may agree. You see, scriptures have been interpreted and translated and punctuation marks have been placed here and there.
The verse reads that the enemy comes in like a flood …(comma) (inferred then) the Spirit of the Lord WILL lift up a standard against him.
But, it was suggested that:
When the enemy comes in (comma), …(ACTION ANALOGY) like a flood the Spirit of the Lord lifts up a standard against him.
Personally, I hesitated to write this but I overcame every thought that encouraged me not to do so because it is a scripture of confidence either way you look at it. But I’ll tell you that when the enemy last attacked me in a BIG way that the Spirit of the Lord came in JUST LIKE A MASSIVE FLOOD, pushing him out of the way and after it was all said and done; I was cleansed and healed! Just thinking about it refreshes me. It seemed to be a REFLEXIVE ACTION ; just like God flexed His muscles. People can believe that Clark Kent went into a booth and turned into Superman; yet they have a hard time accepting the power of God. I don’t understand it but I pray for eyes to see, ears to hear and hearts to understand..RIGHT NOW in Jesus Name! Yet since I was a young believer at the time; I did not fully understand it until it was all over and I got the VICTORY!
No matter what you face; you have to know that God’s best is for you to be healed. You have to grab hold of this. You have to.
* As a rule, I avoid criticism of other people and their ideas even if I don’t agree . However without being personal I encourage you to get in the Word of God and read some Healing scriptures to find out what God’s plans are for your healing. His message will ring loud and clear in your spirit. Blessings to you and yours.
