It’s important to Commune with God by Elaine Davenport (Saturday, October 27, 2007)

You’ll see an example below about Jesus. As busy as he was; he was never too busy to commune with God. In other Words he had two way communication with God. A lot of people think that in prayer; you just tell God what you want
and say Amen and walk away. This is important to know in order to receive your healing. God seeks to have a personal relationship with you. You are that important to Him. He loves you.
One Question:
Can you maintain any relationship in love if you don’t master the art of communication? Just asking.
And He healed many who were ill with various diseases, and cast out many demons; and He was not permitting the demons to speak, because they knew who He was.
In the early morning, while it was still dark, Jesus got up, left the house, and went away to a secluded place, and was praying there.
Mark 1: 34-35
Do you need a Spiritual Direct Deposit? by Elaine Davenport (Sunday, October 12, 2007)

A lot of people want to get healed, but they don’t know what steps to take in order to get what they need. Imagine that what you actually need is a withdrawal.
I checked one of my new bank accounts the other day, It had the same amount of money that was there on the 4th of July!
I hadn’t put anything in it. I wasn’t going to be able to make a withdrawal from that account.
You’ve got to have faith for your healing. How do you get faith if you don’t have it already?
So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word
of God. Romans 10: 17
WHAT DOES THAT MEAN?
It means that you should attempt (and you can do this) to hear the Word of God so much that you hear it in your heart. Faith speaks. In order to be able to speak in faith you’ve got to have it in your heart. The Bible says:
A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh. Luke 6: 45
Sometimes, we may need healing and we already have faith; yet it becomes a challenge because we don’t see results right away.
I try to:
1. Stay close to God in Prayer, Thanksgiving, Praise
2. I do not forsake the assembly of saints; I go to church to hear the Word as much as possible
3. I read my Bible and search for answers
4. I stand and wait for the answer. God always answers. Always…
If my concern is Healing, I read healing scriptures 2 to 5 times a day. If it is:
Faith, Prosperity, Wisdom, Righteousness, Peace, Strength… whatever the challenge, no matter how big or how small the answer is in the Word.
Start today by making a Direct Deposit into your Spiritual bank account; you do have one. Oh Yeah!

* Please if you didn’t read Part One; please read it NOW. Thank you.
and Now salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of His Christ have come, for the accuser of our brethren, who accused them before our God day and night, has been cast down. And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death. (Revelation 12:10-11 NKJV)
THERE WAS A GROUP OF PEOPLE WHO SPENT YEARS THINKING THE ENEMY WAS THE WHITE MAN. THAT ISN’T TRUE. YOU CAN’T SEE THE ENEMY; UNLESS OF COURSE YOU LOOK REAL HARD!
We shall overcome is the basis of the Christian walk. That’s why other people think Christians are so arrogant. It’s because they don’t understand our goals, our preparation and our training. We already know who the enemy is. We already know we’ll be persecuted. We already know there will be much to overcome. We already know there will be a battle and we already know that we win! The sin of offense is simply another thing that we must overcome. That’s all it is.
HOW DO WE OVERCOME OFFENSE
The best way to overcome offense is to cast our cares on God. It’s a load and it calls for you to be self focused and secretly or openly angry as well as unforgiving. Offensive takes you out of the game and forces you to sit on the sidelines. It takes you out of the will of God. It blocks healing, Blessings, communication, progress, faith and productivity. It can be like a festering wound unattended.
SIDE BAR
They actually teach classes to people in how not to offend people. They call it Rational Emotive Language when one uses languages that causes people to react emotionally. They teach that it’s by not using the word “you” or speaking with a accusatory style, manner or using those types of words. I’ve tried it; it works. The truth of the matter is that people are fragile but we can put on the shield of faith and gain strength from wisdom and revelation in this area.
Another way to overcome offense is to immediately forgive. Being polite to someone or being nice to someone is NOT forgiving them. DON’T FOOL YOURSELF! I’ve done that too. That type of feel good zone is only part of your imagination. You are not in God’s perfect will when you “say” that you’ve forgiven someone and you’re harboring what they’ve done to you. We all have different situations so go to the Word of God about yours.
Other ways to overcome offense are: prayer, practicing humility, being sincerely loving, talking out the problem to the specific party that offended you, a gesture of kindness on your part and just getting in the bible and meditating. It’s a sore subject when it happens, so try to understand it now and put it in storage.
Satan will not get an advantage! By Elaine Davenport (Monday, August 6, 2007)

Teach me good judgement and knowledge for I have believed thy commandments. PSALM 119: 66
Dear Heavenly Father, I have believed your commandments and I have ingrained them. I pray today for good judgement in the tasks that I undertake and for the challenges that I face. I pray for a special level of knowledge. I specifically pray for the ability to speak at the proper exact time, for the ability to be quiet at the exact proper time. I know that You have anointed my head and that I am protected in the midst of all mine adversaries and I know that I walk in your shadow. I am asking you to help me to carefully select my words so that they will not be misinterpreted so that Satan would not have an advantage. I thank you that ministering angels go forth to prepare a way for me and that favor not only surrounds me but it also envelopes me. In Jesus Name I ask and pray. Amen.
Don’t take YOUR faith for granted!

in believe that you receive, build up your faith, desire of the righteous shall be granted, fullness of God, prayer
Hi! Most of us don’t realize that we have to work on our faith every single day; but we do. Before I knew this; when an emergency came up I just said a quick 20 second prayer to God and walked around quiet and worried all day. The fact that I was walking around worrying; wasn’t faith. I thought it was.
However, the bible says “If you believe that you receive WHEN you ask for it, then you shall have it.” Most people either don’t know it or believe it, because I meet people all day long every single day who are worried, obsessing about something or another.
In fact, some of them are praying people who for whatever reason forget this. Old habits are hard to break for some; but I choose NOT to worry about anything that I ask God for that is in His Word; because He said: The desire of the righteous (right standing) shall be granted!
So when you see me, you’ll see a happy camper; never a sad sack! Not Ever! So I encourage you to not take your faith for granted but to read the Word of God and build yourself up in your faith. WORK ON IT DAILY! That way, when something happens to you or someone that you know, your faith, your believing what you can’t see; will get you past the problem!
JUST IMAGINE…

Believing What You Can’t See…. (a story)
Some people say that believing what you can’t see is hard.
That’s part of what faith is. The other part is trusting God.
But for some, they just can’t get past the not seeing it part. Smile.
So my goal is to try to make it easier for you to understand this in a practical
sense.
Imagine that there is a huge tree that falls across the road and you need to get past
it. This tree has your street blocked off and you need to drive your car to work, to get food and water and you have important appointments. At this point, all you know to do is to pray and ask God to send help, send some angels and you just have to trust Him to do this.
Right after your prayer you begin to know that things are going to be alright and you give thanks before anything happens! Now that’s faith!
You have an ax but you don’t have any other equipment except for a small wheelbarrow. You call for help and they say they can come in a week. So at that point you realize that God will have to fix it because you can’t do it by yourself. You know you’re getting out because you have to. So you go out to the tree with the ax and begin to chop it up in little pieces at a time. Then you pile them in your wheelbarrow and dump them in a pile on the curb. You keep doing this going back and forth and pretty soon you are joined by some of your neighbors; one by one they come out to help.
Next, out of the blue a man in a truck stops to help who lives on the next block. He calls his friend who has a tree shredder service who agrees to come and keeps his word. It turns into one big party and you meet neighbors that you never knew. In less than three hours; the tree is gone and the problem is gone! What a Blessing!
