There’s a whole lot of faith in a room full of people when the shouting and the praising is going on.  And when the truth of God’s Word is being preaching, I mean c’mon….great faith abounds.

But, what do you believe when tragedy or trouble hits?  What kind of faith do you have then?      When you think you’re all alone…what kind of faith do you have?

GUESS WHAT THE ANSWER IS….YOU ARE NEVER ALONE.

The greater One…God…lives on the inside of you.  No other faith can claim this; but Christians can.  Do not settle for less!

Psalm 34:19 “Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the LORD delivers him out of them all.”

1 John 5:4 “For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.”

It’s football season and its seems that most of the important games come on the week-ends.    If you listen to the announcers during the “one” game they hold on Monday Nights; all they talk about is what happened in the games on the week-end.  It’s funny because at that point, there is NOTHING they can do about it but keep talking.

By the time that many people get sick, a lot of damage has been done.  But, we can still get before God because He is a God of mercy and He can heal us.  It’s happened to me many times and the bible says he is no respecter of persons.

Be proactive about your health.  Eat right, exercise, stay in the Word, follow God’s statutes and be obedient.    Stay in covenant, pray…it’s not rocket science but you have to be willing.  Don’t let disobedience be a stumbling block for you.

I had a death sentence over my head.  God didn’t put it there.  I listened to a doctor and looked at a hospital report and drew my own conclusions.  The only thing that turned me around was a Healing service at church in which I learned that at the back of the Bible there was a Concordance with a listing of healing scriptures and where to find them.  I did not know that beforehand.  I rushed home…

looked up the scriptures, typed them up, began to recite them around the clock and kept them nclose under my pillow.

I soon began to declare that I will live and not die!  I promised God that I would serve Him and that will never stop.  I am promised eternity and I will serve Him there.

I encourage you to get bold about the promises of God and to believe them!

Psalm 118:17 “I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the LORD.”

A lot of people aren’t sure if God wants everybody healed.  That’s because some people get healed and some people do not.  But, that’s not the way that God wants it.    The truth is that God’s words says nothing about healing some people sometimes and ignoring the requests of others.

When I needed healing from cancer; I was willing to jump on a plane and go to Mexico for a doctor who I knew nothing about.  It was as though I thought she could go in and cut it all out and make it go away.    It didn’t work out and when things started not working out; I pushed closer to God.   When I did; I felt that the will of God was to heal me and I  felt the need to plug into the Word on healing.

JUST WHAT DID GOD HAVE TO SAY ABOUT HEALING?   I GOOGLED IT.  GOD HAD A LOT TO SAY.  IT WAS ALL COMFORTING TO ME.

I bdegan to read all His healing scriptures 3 to 5 times a day.  IT wasn’t long before I was absolutely expecting a TOTAL healing.  I didn’t need a bunch of sympathetic people; I just needed God to move.  Healing was His promise to me!    All I had to do was endure.  I did and He kept His promise!!!

Hebrews 10:35-36 “Therefore do not cast away your confidence, which has great reward. For you have need of endurance, so that after you have done the will of God, you may receive the promise.”

3John 2: “Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.”

When people talk about healing; too often they leave out situations that hit the very core of so many people.  That is emotional healing.  The divorce rate in this country is extremely high and who knows how high the number of separations are.    When relationships break down this impacts people emotionally even if one person fares better than the other.  When you couple these circumstances with  financial burdens and the challenges of provision for children it compounds the problem.

Certain mental illnesses are exacerbated by emotional markings.    Symptoms that are often categorized as psychotic or depression and often times schizophrenia are often founded in emotional imbalances.  Uncontrollable crying is often a sign of depression.  Always being sad is a sign of not having joy.  It’s an opposite feeling.  None of this means that the person is bad; it’s just proof that the devil is working to steal, kill and destroy.

No matter what you are going through; God wants you well.

Emotional healing is common and not uncommon.  It is your covenant right; but you have to expect it!

So, we do not want to overlook emotional factors when we talk about healing.  Anger, sensitivity, outbursts, jealousy and anxiety are all emotional to a great degree.  Your emotions can cripple you if you don’t put them in check.  Believe God to be healed of imbalanced emotions.

Jesus heals all manner of sickness and disease.  Here are some scriptures to look at:

John 10: 10: “The thief (satan) does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I (Jesus) have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.”

Isaiah 41: 10: “So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”

“Then they cry unto the LORD in their trouble, and he saveth them out of their distresses. He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions.” Psalm 107: 19, 20

“Now the Lord is the Spirit; and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.”2 Cor 3: 17
