The Eyes of the Lord by Elaine Davenport ( Tuesday, August 7, 2007)

RIGHTEOUSNESS MEANS BEING IN RIGHT STANDING WITH GOD.  IT ISN”T A WAY TO ACT.  IT”S RIGHT STANDING WITH GOD!  IT”S LIKE GOING TO COURT BEING A HERO.

There is good news for you this day.   These are different times, days seem to accelerate before our eyes and much lies in front of each of us.There is a myth that must be destroyed; and it must be done today.  “Religion” had always dictated  to me that righteous people go to church all the time.   So I thought that I had to go all the time just to be   righteous.  After a journey like that; a lot of people would stop going to church finding themselves exhausted from trying!

Being righteous is simply being in right standing with God.  You don’t have to put so many hours in at church for that reason.  TO DO SO WOULD BE WRONG!

If you are spending any time in church; I sure hope that it’s because you love God just that much!

God has His eye on you!   What a compliment to you and Oh What benefits come from that.

Believers are righteous and a lot of people don’t even know it!

Now let’s list some of the benefits that you have coming to you:

1.  God has His ears open to your prayers!  Yes you.

2.   God is against any evil that may be around you.

3.  God is ready to show Himself strong to those who have a heart for Him.

4.  The eyes of the Lord are in every place.

SCRIPTURAL PROOF

No matter what I say or have said or anyone for that manner; I encourage you to ask them to show you in the Word of God.

“For the Eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, and His ears are open to their prayers; but the face of the Lord is against those who do evil.”
1 Peter 3:12 NKJV

“The Eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, and His ears are open to their cry. The face of the Lord is against those who do evil, to cut off the remembrance of them from the earth.”
Psalm 34:15-16 NKJV

“For The Eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth to show Himself strong on behalf of those whose heart is loyal to Him.”
2 Chronicles 16:9 NKJV

“The Eyes of the Lord are in every place, keeping watch on the evil and the good.”
Proverbs 15:3 NKJV

“The Eyes of the Lord keep watch over knowledge, but He frustrates the words of the unfaithful.”
Proverbs 22:12 NIV

“But the Eyes of the Lord are on those who fear Him, on those whose hope is in His unfailing love.”
Psalm 33:18 NIV

When I wake up every morning I will again give thanks for the eyes of the Lord. PRAISE GOD!
