The Holy Spirit Helped Me Through by Elaine Davenport Sunday, August 31, 2008

I was reading today a phenomenal book given to me by a friend that I highly regard; a prayer intercessor.  The Book is titled: Prayer Your Way To Every Victory by Kenneth Copeland. I learned so much.

This won’t take long but it is important.  Read  this:

John 14:16-17 (Amplified Bible)

16And I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Comforter (Counselor, Helper, Intercessor, Advocate, Strengthener, and Standby), that He may remain with you forever–

17The Spirit of Truth, Whom the world cannot receive (welcome, take to its heart), because it does not see Him or know and recognize Him. But you know and recognize Him, for He lives with you [constantly] and will be in you.

I never could truly in words understand specifically how I got through the ordeals that I went through with my health in those days of affliction.  It was because of The Comforter, God’s agent who came to live inside me and act on my faith filled words.  He advocated for me.  He interceded for me.  He strengthened me.  He helped me.  He counseled me.  When I asked God to order my steps in my time of trouble, God’s man on the scene The Holy Spirit stepped in.  No, I cannot go back to my life before.  No way!
