Lord Heal My Heart! By Elaine Davenport November, 2013

AAHEARTBROKEN

Most of the time that we speak of healing, we are talking about sickness and  disease in relation to things sometimes and sometimes not treatable by a medical doctor.  But one of the subjects that we do not often enough speak of is:  a broken heart.   Yet. we all have faced it at one time or another.

Broken relationships,  Family inflicted pain, unexpected loss, severed friendships, unexpected aggression,  business dead ends,  financial woes,  bad decisions, being naive, fractured trust, misunderstandings….

We have to be so careful…but we have the freedom…and the right to say:

Lord…I give it all to You…it’s a faith thing!

Psalm 34:18

The Lord is near to the brokenhearted
and saves the crushed in spirit.

John 14:13 ESV

Whatever you ask in my name, this I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.

Pencil Sharpener Healing! By Elaine Davenport December,

I do not know what your problem is; but God has a solution for you.  Think back to the times in life when you were successful.  Why do you think that happened?  It’s because you were consistent, you would not give up, your adrenaline was pumping,  you found the winning formula so to speak.    You had a plan, you worked your plan and it worked!   Yahoo!   Well guess what…God requires the same of you…only it’s a better plan.

All you need is a little faith (He gave you that) and some healing scriptures from the Word of God.  Before I went to bed last night, I was reading a Book Of Prayer; actually a study guide.  It Blessed me,  My faith was amped up.  Middle of the night, I get this awful headache…so I lay hands on myself and pray…it goes away.  It came back two more times and I did it again!   That third time that I lay hands on myself I told it to leave!  It did not come back!

Have you ever seen a dull pencil?  It’s of little use.  However, if you get a pencil sharpener; it becomes just like new.  The Word of God on Healing and Faith will sharpen you…take a note of that.

WORD:

Romans 8:32“He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?”

Mark 16:17-18“And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name . . . they shall lay hands on the sick, and

Psalm 34:19“Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the LORD delivers him out of them all.”

Jeremiah 30:17“For I will restore health unto you, and I will heal you of your wounds, saith the Lord.”

Isaiah 53:4-5“Surely He hath borne our griefs (Hebrew: sicknesses) and carried our sorrows (Hebrew: pains) yet we did esteem Him stricken, smitten of God and afflicted. But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was upon Him; and by His stripes we are healed.” they shall recover.”

Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see.

1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

Hebrews 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

Mark 9:23 Jesus said to him, “If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.”

Matthew 13:58 Now He did not do many mighty works there because of their unbelief.

Happy Mother’s Day! May 13, 2012

TODAY IS A DAY OF REST!   THANK YOU LORD!   IT’S BEEN GREAT!

I look up to the hills. Where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord. He is the Maker of heaven and earth. He won’t let your foot slip. He who watches over you won’t get tired. In fact, he who watches over Israel won’t get tired or go to sleep.

“The Lord watches over you. The Lord is like a shade tree at your right hand. The sun won’t harm you during the day. The moon won’t harm you during the night. The Lord will keep you from every kind of harm. He will watch over your life. The Lord will watch over your life no matter where you go, both now and forever.” (Psalm 121:1-8, NIRV)
