Healing Scripture Dissected! by Elaine Davenport (Tues., Nov. 6, 2007)

We’ll begin a series of doing this. I just want you to encourage you to read and study this out.

The Lord put it in my heart to closely examine healing scriptures. So, let’s take a close look and get as much out of this as we can. I believe that it will Bless you. Special Note: Healing is for everyone and not just for some. I don’t care how impossible your situation is.

Acts 5:16 “Also a multitude gathered from the surrounding cities to Jerusalem, bringing sick people and those who were tormented by unclean spirits, and they were all healed. (New International Version)

There came also a multitude out of the cities round about unto Jerusalem, bringing sick folks, and them which were vexed with unclean spirits: and they were healed every one. (KJV)

(Amplified Bible) And the people gathered also from the towns and hamlets around Jerusalem, bringing the sick and those troubled with foul spirits, and they were all cured.

A crowd of people gathered from around Jerusalem. Just imagine them bring their loved ones that were sick; even those tormented b y unclean spirits and they were all healed. First let’s talk about the unclean spirits; these have been identified in the bible: The Bible has many names for these spirits:

* Deaf and dumb spirit (Mark 9:17-29)
* Evil spirit (Luke 7:21; Acts 19:12-13)
* Familiar spirit (I Samuel 28:7)
* Foul spirit (Mark 9:25)
* Lying spirit (II Chronicles 18:20-22)
* Perverse spirit (Isaiah 19:14; Romans 1:17-32)
* Seducing spirit (I Timothy 4:1)
* Spirit of an unclean devil (Luke 4:33)

* Spirit of antichrist (I John 4:3)
* Spirit of bondage (Romans 8:15)
* Spirit of death (I Corinthians 10:10, 15:26)
* Spirit of divination (Acts 16:16)
* Spirit of error (I John 4:6)
* Spirit of fear (II Timothy 1:7)
* Spirit of haughtiness (Proverbs 16:18-19)
* Spirit of heaviness (Isaiah 61:3)

* Spirit of infirmity (Luke 13:11-13)
* Spirit of jealousy (Genesis 4:5-8; Numbers 5:14)
* Spirit of slumber (Isaiah 29:10, Romans 11:8)
* Spirit of the world (I Corinthians 2:12)
* Spirit of whoredoms (Hosea 4:12, 5:4)
* Unclean spirit (Mark 6:7; Luke 11:24-26)

It doesn’t say they brought every unclean spirit; it says those that were tormented by an unclean spirit and they were healed.

This is a faith story; but this is also a healing story: The Woman With The Issue Of Blood. (Short Video)

And they were ALL cured. And they were ALL healed. Gone are the days where what you have cannot be healed! Don’t buy that! Take your mustard seed faith and combine it with someone’s else’s mountain moving faith and believe GOD for your healing. Hebrews 11: 13 says: Jesus Christ (The Anointed One) is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow. Get in prayer, ask Jesus to heal you and ask in faith. Expect it. Expect it. Stand and be patient, but expect it. Let your words and your thoughts reflect what’s in your heart. Remember God can heal anything if you can Trust Him. Blessings, stay in faith.
