A lot of people want to get healed, but they don’t know what steps to take in order to get what they need. Imagine that what you actually need is a withdrawal.

I checked one of my new bank accounts the other day, It had the same amount of money that was there on the 4th of July!

I hadn’t put anything in it. I wasn’t going to be able to make a withdrawal from that account.

You’ve got to have faith for your healing. How do you get faith if you don’t have it already?

So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word

of God. Romans 10: 17

WHAT DOES THAT MEAN?

It means that you should attempt (and you can do this) to hear the Word of God so much that you hear it in your heart. Faith speaks. In order to be able to speak in faith you’ve got to have it in your heart. The Bible says:

A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh. Luke 6: 45
Sometimes, we may need healing and we already have faith; yet it becomes a challenge because we don’t see results right away.

I try to:

1. Stay close to God in Prayer, Thanksgiving, Praise

2. I do not forsake the assembly of saints; I go to church to hear the Word as much as possible

3. I read my Bible and search for answers

4. I stand and wait for the answer. God always answers. Always…

If my concern is Healing, I read healing scriptures 2 to 5 times a day. If it is:

Faith, Prosperity, Wisdom, Righteousness, Peace, Strength… whatever the challenge, no matter how big or how small the answer is in the Word.

Start today by making a Direct Deposit into your Spiritual bank account; you do have one. Oh Yeah!

*This is a true story; I lived it out. The devil tried to kill my friend. He tried to destroy my faith which is the essence of me. He starts fires all over the place. In the realm of the natural, prayer warriors backed by God put them out.

* Prayer Warriors work the front lines. We see everything that goes on. We encounter danger regularly. There are new adventures and repeated adventures. It’s exciting! God ALWAYS shows up! Always…

It was a Saturday afternoon and I was just sort of being lazy. The telephone rang and I didn’t even want to answer it. It was my good friends friend with bad news. My friend was very very sick in the hospital. She’s a minister. I knew it was warfare. The old me would have said I’ll pray. Satan began to send thoughts saying: “It’s a bad time.” When I opened my mouth, I said: “I’m on my way.”

I went to the Hospital to Plead The Blood of Jesus for my Friend!

I was mission minded on the way down there. My gas tank “looked” like it was on empty but the gas gauge lever never moved. My spiritual tank was on full. I found a free spot in front of the hospital. I got inside to her room and I found it quite easily. My friend looked very bad. I was led to seal the scene with the Blood of Jesus. I did it. There were only three of us there. We prayed a powerful prayer. When we finished; the nurse approached us within ten minutes. There had been a change…

THINGS HAD GOTTEN WORSE…

Now I’ll be honest. This had never happened before. Satan began to send thoughts:

“You are so stupid!”

“You really messed up now!”

“That faith stuff doesn’t work!”

“She’s going to die!”

“Her husband is going to ban you from seeing her.”

“They’re going to say you killed her.”

“They are definitely going to call you a nut!”

EVERYTHING SATAN SAYS IS A LIE! HE’S THE AUTHOR OF LIES! WHY WOULD ANYONE BELIEVE HIM? I DIDN’T. THE MORE HE SAID; THE STRONGER I GOT! THIS WAS WARFARE!

THEN I HEARD A QUIET VOICE..

Only Believe.

IT WAS HARD..

It was hard for me to hear the nurse say that now my friend was not only in a coma, but that she had a heart attack and was experiencing kidney failure.

SIDE JOURNEY..

There’s a peace that comes over me as a Prayer Warrior. I get really quiet when something “bad” happens and the enemy attacks. A lot of faith people think if they get close to God nothing bad will happen to them. That’s not true. Something will happen, but God will make a way out.

“There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.”—1 Corinthians 10:13.

The word temptation describes tests and trials that occur in our lives. This was a test and it was a trial.

I had planned to go pray over my friend and go home. Now, I was going to have to get before God and find out specifically what to do next.

I WENT HOME TO PRAY

When I got home, I immediately went into a private place to pray. I was led to get out my Scripture Keys Book by June Newman Davis and to pray Healing Scriptures around the clock for my friend until she was healed. I began to do it and I was very faithful with it. I was unable to see my friend because they allowed only her husband to see her. I continued to leave him messages telling him that I was reading Healing Scriptures for her. I also called and told her friend that as well. Honestly, I don’t know if they even realized how much prayer was being sent, but it didn’t matter. I went to see her one day and she looked so bad that my daughter and I were moved to tears.
SHE CAME OUT OF THE COMA AND HER KIDNEYS BEGAN TO FUNCTION…

In what can only be described as a miracle, everything changed! She came out of the coma and everything began to function normally. She faced months of rehabilitation. I received a message from her after she got out of the hospital that basically said, don’t come around for a while. It was okay, my job is that of a prayer warrior and not that of a people pleaser. I continued to pray for my friend. I’m a busy person, I am called in all directions, so to be released from visiting anyone doesn’t put a ripple in my schedule. Jesus took care of it.

ABOUT A MONTH AGO..

I had dinner with my friend. She’s in perfect health, in better shape than she ever was, happier, much more content and a lot more Spiritual. She just wrapped up her Master’s degree in Pastoral Counseling and has legitimately been very busy. It wasn’t personal that I had not seen her, it’s just life. God is faithful and if I’m ever called to go to seal a hospital scene with the Blood of Jesus…I will go! For a fact, I know that the devil wanted to kill my friend, but he’s under my feet! I’ll keep stomping! Praise God!

Righteousness is “key” by Elaine Davenport (Monday, September 17, 2007)

People are just intrigued about hearing stories of miracles on healing. I’ve had a few and certainly have talked about them over and over for those who are regular reviewers. Bless God! Today, I’d like to help you to take a cross sectional view of your healing. I want to talk about righteousness and the importance of putting our focus on the things of God. I realize that this isn’t easy because most people only want to talk about their goal to get healed. But, I will tell you this is the way to get it I believe. Now if you search the internet; you won’t find much about this; but if you search the word or talk to some saints of God, you will.

“Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others, faithfully administering God’s grace in its various forms.” – I Peter 4:10

ONE THING THAT BLOCKS MANY HEALINGS IS:

A lack of understanding on RIGHTEOUSNESS.

Therefore, MY BELOVED BRETHREN, BE YE STEADFAST, UNMOVABLE, ALWAYS ABOUNDING IN THE WORK OF THE LORD, FORASMUCH AS YE KNOW THAT YOUR LABOR IS NOT IN VAIN IN THE LORD-1 Cor 15:58.

As it is written, THEN SHALL YE RETURN, AND DISCERN BETWEEN THE RIGHTEOUS AND THE WICKED, BETWEEN HIM THAT SERVETH GOD, AND HIM THAT SERVETH HIM NOT-Mal 3:18

If you will read that last scripture, it compares those that serve God not with the wicked but with the righteous.

WHAT IS RIGHTEOUS AND DOES IT COME WITH BENEFITS?

I’m so glad that question has been raised. Smile. Righteous simply means right standing with GOd. It doesn’t mean Holy. It means good in God’s eyes.

The righteous do have benefits. Here are a few:

RENEWED LIFE

Behold, I long for Your precepts; in Your righteousness give me renewed life.
Psalm 119:40

RESTORATION OF YOUR LIFE AND REFRESHING
He refreshes and restores my life (my self); He leads me in the paths of righteousness [uprightness and right standing with Him–not for my earning it, but] for His name’s sake. Psalm 23: 3

YOU WILL LIVE

He who is steadfast in righteousness (uprightness and right standing with God) attains to life, but he who pursues evil does it to his own death. Proverbs 11: 19

PEACE, QUIETNESS AND TRUST

And the effect of righteousness will be peace [internal and external], and the result of righteousness will be quietness and confident trust forever. Isaiah 32: 17

SURROUNDED BY FAVOR!

For You, Lord, will bless the [uncompromisingly] righteous [him who is upright and in right standing with You]; as with a shield You will surround him with goodwill (pleasure and favor). Psalm 5: 12

ESTABLISHED (in your health, marriages, relationships, businesses, families, neighborhoods, jobs, schools etc.)

Oh, let the wickedness of the wicked come to an end, but establish the [uncompromisingly] righteous [those upright and in harmony with You]; for You, Who try the hearts and emotions and thinking powers, are a righteous God. Psalm 7: 9

MINISTERED JUSTICE

(not only will you get justice, but it will be ministered to you!)

And He will judge the world in righteousness (rightness and equity); He will minister justice to the peoples in uprightness.
Psalm 9: 8

GOD HEARS YOUR PRAYERS

For the eyes of the Lord are upon the righteous (those who are upright and in right standing with God), and His ears are attentive to their prayer. But the face of the Lord is against those who practice evil [to oppose them, to frustrate, and defeat them].
1 Peter 3: 12

YOU GET A REMARKABLE HARVEST THAT YOU DETERMINE !

YOU GET PEACE TOO!

And the harvest of righteousness (of conformity to God’s will in thought and deed) is [the fruit of the seed] sown in peace by those who work for and make peace [in themselves and in others, that peace which means concord, agreement, and harmony between individuals, with undisturbedness, in a peaceful mind free from fears and agitating passions and moral conflicts]. James 3: 18

That harvest is based upon the seed you’ve sown. It could be your service to others who arechallenged in health, your time, your money, your teaching….

REAP LOVING KINDNESS AND MERCY

Sow for yourselves according to righteousness (uprightness and right standing with God); reap according to mercy and loving-kindness. Break up your uncultivated ground, for it is time to seek the Lord, to inquire for and of Him, and to require His favor, till He comes and teaches you righteousness and rains His righteous gift of salvation upon you. Hosea 10: 12

There are many more benefits to being righteous or in right standing with God. These benefits hold the key to your healing. I encourage you to pursue it. I am.

Faith Boot Camp! by Elaine Davenport (August 13, 2007)

Dearest friend, I am so glad to be back to speak with you about healing,  Divine Health, Spiritual Warfare, wholeness, peace, faith, the misunderstood word:  prosperity, patience, and all of the things that you need to hear to stay on full. 

In Hebrews 2: 1 it says:

: Therefore we ought to give the more earnest heed to the things which we have heard, lest at any time we should let them slip.

I am greatly honored to take God at His  word as I feel that I attended a Faith Boot Camp so to speak.  There were literally 26 workshops in one week with over 10 hours of praise and worship, daily meditations and praying in the streets with people, hearing faith testimonies, Divine appointments and connections and so much good will.  I watched with great anticipation as people from all over the world convened in a place to become a group of 10,000 with 20,000 watching over the internet.  It was powerful.  

I need to share with you some incredible stories of faith, favor and perseverance and I know that it will Bless you.  Oh what fun we had in our hotel laughing with joy over the great experience that God has given us.  We all called it a working vacation as we recollected upon the many souls that we brought to Christ and the prayers that we made to the Father in the Name of the Son. 

I am thankful to have had an opportun ity to attend and I do not plan to miss any more.  I truly believe that I have been reignited to give you the fuel for your faith to help you to get through the challenges that you face.  I’m just a humble messenger.  Our God gets ALL the credit; He is a BIG GOD!   Make no mistake.

I’m happy to report that I have yet another Faith Convention this week and it will be at my home church here in Southfield, Michigan.  Again, God will send people from all over the world and we will all celebrate our love for God together!

Perhaps you’re here out of curiosity or for more information on healing, faith, prayer, wisdom, peace or whatever your specific need is. Just know that…it’s time to broaden your horizons. You already are you say? More. There is no one whom this message cannot Bless and God gets all the Glory, Praise and Honor for it!

Before I formed you in the womb I knew [and] approved of you [as My chosen instrument], and before you were born I separated and set you apart, consecrating you; [and] I appointed you as a prophet to the nations. Jeremiah 1 verse 5 Amplified Bible

 

Dearest Friend, I bring you greetings. How are you? I have been praying for you. Yes you. You’re probably thinking: “Yeah right,” or “I hope so”, but I assure you that I am. I am praying daily for probably around 100 to 300 people, and when I think about you, I simply say: “Lord, meet their need and please speak to them in certain situations that they face today. Please give them your Divine Health, Wisdom, Joy, Peace, Favor and whatever they need today. You see, I simply let the Spirit of God lead me to pray for you. I have a special message today tailored just for you. It is so fitting that your spirit will say: “Wow!

For at least a month, I have been instructed to tell YOU to broaden your horizons! That could be from many perspectives. The primary focus is Spiritual. The secondary components are: creatively, financially, morally, physically, emotionally and or educationally. If you’re reading this letter, then God has some things for you to do and you know it. I didn’t say you know what it is…I just said you “know” it. Smile. I encourage you to: stretch, reach, explore, amend, to balance and to get closer to God!

Of course, I have to tell you a story. Last month, I sent out close to 200 letters and I apologize that everybody didn’t get one. The message was: “Develop your Giving spirit” for some and it was “ What You Choose to Do is Important!” for others. (It literally was the same message with slight variations.) A few days after the first batch went out, I got a long distance call from Houston, Texas. I was delighted because it was Brother Daniel Morales whom I had met when my sister/friend Vivian and I hopped on a plane and went down to visit the Lakewood church. You see, we were stranded in Houston and Brother Daniel was “sent” to get us to church, to eat, keep us grounded in the Word, provide us with Christian fellowship, take us shopping and to the airport. Whew! Can you imagine doing all of that for TWO TOTAL STRANGERS? Well, he did! We all became friends. I’ve met saints before, but Daniel was different. He has this gift of relating all of your everyday conversation back to the Word of God. It is not done to show off, it’s just the way that he is. It’s actually remarkable to be in such good company.

Well, Daniel had told us how he planned to move to Alaska because there were no jobs in Houston. As soon as we heard it, Vivian and I stood in agreement that it would not take place, that he would not have to leave his church or his community and go off to Alaska; for surely he is a man of God and we didn’t want to see him leave the place where he was connected. When we arrived home, stayed in touch and our prayers continued. We wondered what had ever happened to Daniel in that situation. Vivian kept saying Gods’ not going to send him to Alaska.

Daniel called to say that he had met a friend at church and they had talked. He found out that she had been a missionary. She asked him if he could pray for her brother who was confronted with a rather serious diagnosis of cancer. Daniel began to pray for this man sight unseen. The brothers’ condition improved in a great way by the hand of God. In a later conversation, he mentioned to the lady that he was looking for a job. She told him that her brother, whom he had prayed for was looking for dependable knowledgeable drivers for his bus company. So Daniel went to go inquire of a job. When he arrived at the company, he passed a man. The man looked at him and said: “Do I know you?” Daniel introduced himself. The man said: “You’re my sisters’ friend who prayed for me, do you have an application?” Daniel said No, and they went inside to fill it out. He was hired to work in Houston, right there on the spot! It’s a beautiful story and it’s true. PRAISE GOD!

I am happy to report that he won’t be moving to Alaska because God is faithful! Now, Daniel told me an interesting fact about himself. You see, people come from all over the world to visit the Lakewood church. He says, God always arranges for him to meet the people who need help. He says it’s been going on for so long that he is now very used to it! Vivian and I were going on and on about the miracle of our meeting him and his giving us transportation that we so DESPERATELY needed…and Daniel didn’t seem phased by it. He politely told us it happens ALL THE TIME! All because he chose to broaden his horizons. He couldn’t talk long because he had to go take his aunt to see her brother who was in a nursing home. Daniel knows his calling…what’s yours? You have one. Start praying more, God will tell you.

Now, I’m also asking you to consider broadening, enlarging, increasing, lengthening, augmenting your horizons. If you do it spiritually, I assure you that the other components will fall into place. You see, God has chosen YOU to do a special thing. God will give you FAVOR to do it. I’ll be watching and listening and praying that you’ll do it. Be Well. Love Elaine
